Miss-Diagnosed: The Challenge of Detecting Ovarian Cancer Early is a documentary that educates women about ovarian cancer with the hope that it can help women of all ages with early detection and prevention of the disease. Ovarian cancer is the deadliest of the gynecological cancers. Seventy percent of women are diagnosed at stage 3 or stage 4 leading to a 70% to 90% chance of a recurrence.

The film will feature the personal journeys of four women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and include interviews from doctors, researchers and others dedicated to helping educate and empower women to take control of their health to eradicate this disease.

We will provide medical information about signs and symptoms, why it’s hard to detect early, genetic mutations and promising new treatments for the future.

We are currently in post-production for the film and looking for funding to pay for things like editing, animation, color correction, and sound mixing.
